The Pentecostal Church of Pori holds the Bible as it’s highest guideline of faith and belief. The main points of our doctrine are listed in “The main articles of faith of the Pentecostal Church of Finland”.
Theologically The Pentecostal Church of Pori is mainly similar with other Christian churches and the leading principles of reformation. The biggest theological difference between Pentecostal Church and (e.g.) The Lutheran Church is that the membership of the Church comes through personal belief and decleration of faith. Pentecostals also require a baptism taken by ones personal request.
As a local church we openly favour the charismatic gifts of the Holy Spirit such as healing of the sick, the gift of prophecy, speaking in tongues etc.
